From my first job to my last job I have had uniforms. Whether it was black pants and the company vest at the bookstore, black pants, DQ shirt and visor at DQ, or black pants and collared white shirt (barf) at the chocolate store, I’ve never had the opportunity to wear my own clothes. I guess that’s why my closet is lacking in anything other than t-shirts, hoodies and jeans. I get excited when I have the day of and get to wear jeans. Yeah. It’s like that. But now things are a little different. That’s right. This girl has a real person job where we don’t all have to look the same or deal with customers (holla!) I am quite excited to be actually develop and piece together my style. I have a reason to wear accessories now! I have quite a few earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings collecting dust because I couldn’t be bothered, but now I get to be me 🙂 Pretty great!
Oh! I got a call today! Actually I got a call-back about a job I applied for last month. The job was back home (hah) and I am kind of surprised to hear from them, happy to hear from them (someone else thinks I’m qualified, kudos!), and really really relieved that I don’t have to consider it since I have already accepted a position here. Thank goodness!!
