$1 Million In Our Pockets with Black Women Save

You know that feeling when you set a goal for yourself and you achieve that goal and you want to shout it from the top of a mountain?

Here’s your chance to join hundreds of other women in a pretty awesome and inspiring goal with Black Women Save.

“The mission for Black Women Save is to help 1,000 Black Women Save $1,000. Join us in this Challenge and Spread the Word!”

Who wants to be a part of making 1 million dollars? I’m in!

Here’s what you do:

Visit Black Women Save and

1) Make the pledge – commit to saving that money no matter how small it may seem, it will grow. Fill out the pledge sheet, print it, save it, put it somewhere to remind you of what you want to achieve

2) Time frame – be realistic. How long would you like it to take you? How long can it realistically take you? With a little effort you can find a comfortable middle ground

3) Stash your cash – where’s the best place for you to start your savings? In cash in a jar? Or in a tax free savings account? Just make sure it’s separate from the rest of your money

4) Get others in – share your goal with someone, and maybe they’ll want to get in on this group achievement. If you’re looking for someone — you’ve got me! Let me know you’re starting this challenge so we can support each other 🙂

    • Me too! It’s great to achieve and it’s great to be a part of something. So achieving something together, especially for individuals who perhaps otherwise may not have any sort of backup savings planned out, I think it’s a valuable plan. I know a lot of people just get by but having a savings, a cushion, is really important.
